Materials used for goldwork are made from metal that makes them conductive. Below you will find some guidelines that explain how to use conductive thread, cord and purl applications for the E-embroidering.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><em>Couching <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><em>In embroidery, couching work is a technique in which the thread is laid across the surface of the fabric and fastened in place with small stitches of a different thread.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0<em>The Couching technique is perfect for working with conductive treads. Mostly, the treads are fragile or stiff and the best way to attach them to the fabric is to fix them with supporting threads. Loud speakers could be in any shape. I have chosen a star shape as an example.
