The common denominator is their intrinsic use of textile materials and\/or&nbsp;techniques as a central part of their practice. Together these practitioners cover a wide range of departure points, perspectives and expressions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The book also includes brand new essays by leading figures within the textile field: Jessica Hemmings, Textile Writer &amp; Professor of Craft and Vice-Prefect of Research at HDK; Bella Rune, Artist &amp; Professor of Fine Art, Textiles at Konstfack; \u00c5sa P\u00e4rson, Master Weaver; and Delia Dumitrescu, Professor &amp; Manager of the Smart Textiles Design Lab, Bor\u00e5s Textilh\u00f6gskolan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The book launch will take place at Fiberspace in the form of a pop-up bookstore and&nbsp;group exhibition. Open everyday between 3-13 december, Mondays-Fridays 12-18 and Saturdays-Sundays 12-16.
