In my research at the Textile University in Borås, I am exploring and mapping future textile trends within fashion and culture. Working with both high-tech and low-tech approaches to a conceptual and theoretical thinking in and around future textiles. My work considers how tension spans between past and present, ancient and future, can lead to explorations of future behaviours and adaptations of biotech materials, sustainability and synthetic biology.
